Nuttle / Export Reddit comments

Export Reddit comments, every nested reply included

Open a thread and scroll. Every comment and reply — with scores, awards, OP flags and images — lands on your computer as a proper tree. Export it to CSV, or hand it to your AI agent to find what users keep complaining about.

  • No API keys
  • No auto-scrolling, no bulk requests
  • Data stays on your machine

WHAT'S SAVED

The whole conversation, not a flat list

  • The full comment treeEvery reply keeps its parent and depth, so the CSV and the detail view read like the real thread. OP replies are flagged.
  • Scores, awards, timestampsSort by score to find the complaints people agree with most.
  • Images and GIFs in commentsSaved with the comment, and downloadable.
  • The post itselfTitle, body, subreddit, score, upvote ratio, comment count — plus images, galleries and videos (audio and video merged into one file).

HOW IT WORKS

First time, four steps

  1. Install NuttleA ~6 MB Windows installer. No sign-up.
  2. Add the browser extension and the Reddit pluginSettings → Install browser extension (drag it into Chrome); Plugins → Reddit.
  3. Read threads on reddit.comScroll as usual; click “more replies” on branches you care about. Whatever loads is saved.
  4. Open Nuttle to view or exportData → Reddit. Open a post to see its tree; filter and export to CSV.

Nuttle only keeps threads you actually open. It never fetches pages, scrolls or clicks for you.

FAQ

Questions

Do I need a Reddit API key?

No. Nuttle keeps what reddit.com already loaded in your browser while you read the thread. There is no API app to register and no code to write.

How do I get the deeply nested replies?

Replies Reddit shows by default are saved as you scroll. For collapsed branches, click “more replies” or “View more comments” on reddit.com; whatever loads is saved.

Will my account get banned?

Nuttle sends no extra requests and never auto-scrolls, so it behaves exactly like you reading the thread. Platform rules are up to Reddit, and we can't make guarantees on its behalf.

Can I export a thread I haven't opened?

No. Nuttle only saves pages you actually open. If you need to export threads by link without opening them, a cloud exporter is a better fit.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything stays in a local database on your computer. There is no account.
